THE HARTZ PROJECT is delighted to announce Even Though I Forgot My Name, the debut exhibition hosted at its brand-new gallery location in Hong Kong’s M PLACE.

On view from July 18 through August 29, 2026, this group presentation highlights the work of seven female artists from Asia: Yongqi Tang, Liu Xin, Xiangjie Rebecca Wu, Kyungmin Jean Lee, Alexis Jang, Ruxin, and Goyona Jung.

Together, the exhibition delves into the complex geometries of self-discovery, pondering what endures within the human soul once external distractions quiet down and societal labels melt away.

Among the featured artists, Ru Xin produces ethereal imagery that suspendedly floats between the physical and the intangible.

Anchored in a dreamlike, blue-toned narrative, her art concentrates raw energy and sensory perception through shifting light spectrums and smooth color gradients.

Having grown up in a family deeply immersed in literature and the arts, she naturally absorbed Eastern philosophy from a young age.

Later, her studies at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) refined her mastery of Western logical structures.

Operating at the crossroads of these two rich traditions, Ru Xin perceives a higher dimension where both worldviews converge, developing her unique visual expression within this delicate, translucent atmosphere.

Driven by an ongoing investigation into the universal roots of existence, she uses the canvas as a bridge to escort viewers toward a transcendent, spiritual state that lies far beyond the physical realm.
