SK AX, led by CEO Kim Wanjong and at the forefront of AI-driven transformation in industrial sites, announced on the 16th the launch of its new AI-based Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) service, the “CEO Peace of Mind Package,” designed to systematically prevent and manage serious industrial accidents.
The CEO Peace of Mind Package is an integrated solution that leverages AI technologies to identify potential risks at individual worksites, monitor whether workers are fulfilling their safety obligations, and enable immediate response in the event of an accident.
SK AX explained, “As cases of heightened liability and corporate value damage caused by serious industrial accidents continue to rise, CEOs at worksites often lack systematic, decision-making information.
With the CEO Peace of Mind Package, we enable corporate leadership to monitor safety management status in real time and proactively prevent and manage risk factors.”
The government is currently promoting a “Serious Accident Reduction Roadmap,” aiming to reduce the fatal industrial accident rate per 10,000 workers to the OECD average by 2026.
This goal is based not on easing penalties, but on increased preventive investment.
The roadmap includes measures such as strengthening mandatory risk assessments and expanding the requirement to appoint dedicated safety managers—gradually extending the threshold to companies with 50 or more employees—thereby increasing corporate safety management costs.
The core competitiveness of the CEO Peace of Mind Package lies in its use of advanced AI technologies.
Designed as a versatile model tailored to the increasingly sophisticated and segmented needs of industrial sites, the package enables prompt and systematic safety management.
Key components include: a SHE OT (Operation Technology) solution that uses Vision AI to immediately detect and identify the causes of accidents; a risk dashboard that provides at-a-glance insights into accident status, high-risk tasks, and regulatory compliance by site; an AI-based Job Safety Analysis (JSA) work permit system; and automated recording and reporting of safety obligation compliance—covering all essential elements required for effective safety management.
In addition, wearable-based sensors combined with AI technology can detect risky worker behavior, unauthorized access to hazardous zones, and potential risk factors in real time, issuing alerts to proactively prevent on-site hazards.
By integrating biometric signal–based health monitoring with risk assessment, the AI SHE operating framework enables a comprehensive safety management system that unifies prediction, response, and continuous improvement.
The CEO Peace of Mind Package was fully designed, built, operated, and managed by SK AX Accenture Partners, SK AX’s specialized AX consulting organization.
Drawing on extensive safety management experience and data accumulated at large-scale manufacturing and industrial sites, the team has established a digital safety management standard applicable across industries, delivering a differentiated, integrated service.
SK AX Accenture Partners also provides digital SHE consulting linked to AI systems, supporting companies in building comprehensive safety management frameworks—from risk diagnosis and KPI setting to accident analysis and simulation training.
This enables organizations to rapidly establish safety management systems, ranging from individual worker-level oversight to site-wide standardized frameworks. Looking ahead, SK AX plans to expand the service into a predictive, autonomous safety management system based on Agentic AI.
Choi Jin-min, Representative Partner at SK AX Accenture Partners, stated, “AI-based digital SHE systems are becoming a core infrastructure for effective corporate safety management. We will do our utmost to ensure that the CEO Peace of Mind Package contributes to creating safer and more trustworthy working environments for both executives and frontline workers alike.”
