The Hartz Project is excited to announce the opening of “Us,” Part 2, a group exhibition curated by Thom Oosterhof.
Featuring a lineup of eight influential contemporary artists—Robert Russell, Rachel Lancaster, Kevin Yaun, Dani McKenzie, Steffen Kern, Jonah Gebka, Michael Angel, and Arnaud Adami—the exhibition runs from March 21 through April 25, 2026.
While the first chapter of "Us" in Berlin explored the quiet, private world of domestic interiors, this second iteration in Hong Kong moves toward the threshold of the outside world.
This exhibition captures the transition into public life, where we encounter the influence of others and the vibrant, unpredictable energy of the city.
In Hong Kong, the concept of "Us" shifts from the intimacy of a shared room to the intimacy of proximity.

The exhibition explores how brief brushes and parallel lives exist within dense urban spaces, where individual stories overlap and merge within the city’s rhythm.
The compressed spaces and flickering lights of the city act as a mirror, reflecting our own shifting identities and questioning what we choose to reveal versus what is absorbed into the collective.
The featured artworks reflect a state of transition through blurred figures and resonant everyday objects, suggesting that even the smallest human traces hold significant weight.
Rather than providing a rigid definition of community, the exhibition presents a fractured and multiplied portrait of humanity that remains constantly alive to change and contradiction.
"Us" is an ongoing global journey. Like the Berlin debut, this project will continue to evolve across different cities and cultures, driven by the elusive goal of capturing our shared human experience before it changes once again.
