Western painter Park Jeong-il (47), an animal lover who loves companion animals, held an exhibition on the 3rd floor of the Insa Art Center (41-1 Insa-dong-gil) on the 7th of july.
The animal paintings made with acrylics and mixed media brighten the atmosphere of the exhibition hall as if the audience were freely drawing animals running around in various social spaces rather than animals in a zoo.
If you briefly focus on the paintings of cats and dogs enjoying a vacation by spreading out mats on the beach or dancing on the ski slopes, the suffocating heat this summer of this country will be quickly forgotten.
Painter Park started painting during his school days and has 23 years of experience in painting. He has held about 16 solo exhibitions and has exhibited in about 230 group exhibitions and invitational exhibitions.

Artist Park usually promotes his art exhibitions by putting up the title Family.
He said, "I hope a culture is formed where anyone can come and enjoy paintings. I have pets and I like them too," and "In the past, I would draw a bird and express the background abstractly," and "I still draw mainly animals."
moreover, artist Park Jeong-il said, "Happiness does not come only on special days, but is embedded in the small moments that pass by every day," and "The works in this exhibition capture the warmth of ordinary daily life with the motif of a new leaf clover."
Artist Park added, "I hope that the audience will appreciate the warm emotions and soft colors of the puppy's happy tail, the cat's calm expression in the sunlight, and feel the preciousness of moments that are easy to miss because they are familiar, and that the works will briefly remind the audience of precious memories."

Painter Park has previously exhibited in France and is currently working in Gwangju.
Painter Park's exhibition ends on the 8th of july on the 3rd floor of the Insa Art Center.

Meanwhile, artist Park held an exhibition of animal paintings titled Family from August 16 to August 30 last year at Gangjin Art Hall/Hwarang (9, Yeongnyang-ro 1-gil, Gangjin-gun, Eup), south korea
