On the 5th of july , the south korean government held a joint briefing of related ministries at the government complex in Seoul and announced the 'People's Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon 1st Payment Plan' containing the payment method, such as the application and use period of the People's Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon. </span>

<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">After the announcement of the supplementary budget, the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and other related ministries formed a joint government-wide task force for the People's Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">The characteristic of this livelihood recovery consumption coupon project, which was confirmed by the National Assembly on the 4th, is that in the first stage, consumption coupons worth a minimum of 150,000 won and a maximum of 450,000 won are provided to all citizens, and in the second stage, an additional 100,000 won is provided to 90% of the citizens, taking into account both consumption stimulation and income support. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">Among these, the specific contents of the 'Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon 1st Payment Plan', which contains the first payment plan for all citizens, are as follows.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">The first payment target of the People's Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon is all citizens, and as of the 18th of last month, the day before the announcement date of the People's Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon payment plan, it is in principle paid to Korean citizens residing in Korea. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">The support amount is based on 150,000 won per person for all citizens, but in order to provide customized support by income, it was decided to be 300,000 won per person for the lower-middle class and single-parent families, and 400,000 won per person for basic livelihood recipients.</span></p>

The project was designed to provide 30,000 won to residents of non-metropolitan areas excluding Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon, and an additional 50,000 won to residents of rural and fishing areas (84 cities and counties) facing a population decline crisis, so that the consumption coupons can boost up the recovery of our economy and balanced regional development. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">People can apply for the People's Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon at the local government in charge of their registered address as of the reference date, and adults born before December 31, 2006 can apply and receive it individually. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">Citizens who are eligible for payment can apply for consumption coupons online or offline from 9:00 AM on the 21st to 6:00 PM on September 12th, and can choose to receive them using a credit/check card, prepaid card, or local love gift certificate. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 16px;">Online applications are available 24 hours a day* during the application period (7.21. 09:00 ~ 9.12. 18:00), and offline applications are available from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays during the same period (bank branches are open until 4:00 PM).</span><br />
